Washington World Fellows

is a foreign exchange + career preparatory program for high school sophomores.

The Washington World Fellowship is a 2.5-year global leadership program that seeks to cultivate global leadership and future success in young Washingtonians by providing access to unique academic, travel, and leadership opportunities.

Boundless Washington

is a grant-based outdoor and sports leadership program for young people with disabilities

Boundless Washington is a grant-based program dedicated to expanding access to sports and outdoor activities for youth with disabilities across Washington State. In addition to pursuing their chosen activities, participants also take part in the WSLB Leadership Development Curriculum.

Applications accepted year-round.

Washington Leadership Award Nominations

  • Washingtonian of the Year: Recognizing a resident who has demonstrated leadership, selflessness, generosity, and compassion for their community and our state.

  • Washington Organization of the Year: Honoring a Washington-based organization making a meaningful difference in its community.

  • Legacy of Service Award: Celebrating an individual’s sustained commitment to service across the different stages of a person’s life

  • Equity for All Award: Acknowledging a person, organization, or business that has made a profound impact in advancing equity and social justice for communities across the State.

  • Emerging Leader Award: Celebrates a young person who is stepping up as a leader and making a positive impact in their school or community
